Hello everyone,
I am Dimitar and I am from Bulgaria.
During my twenty years of studying piano, I feel that I came across and learned the key elements required by all successful teachers: that being a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, an outstanding organisational skills, and the ability to work well in a group, as well as an individual.
I use my possitive and easygoing attitude and personality and all the above profesional characteristics to engage and encourage the child in the subject and to maximize their potential and results.
I believe I have learned a lot from my previous experiences and now is the time to start using this knowledge for a better change to the younger generation.
For the past 5 years I am teaching in a Saturday School as well as privately.
My approach to the teaching profession is different for everyone who would like to learn piano. I try to find individual way of explaining the music and everything around the piano to the demands of each child. I do not force or insist on practising something that a child does not like. I try to always choose what they would like to learn which is of course connected to what they need in order to progress and be better with every practice.
I would like parents to be a little involved in the practice sessions of their children just to make sure they are not wasting their time.
