Hey I'm Doja, a positive, passionate, qualified teacher who loves to inspire and be inspired. I absolutely love learning and feel that a day where nothing has been learnt is a day wasted! I am inquisitive and jovial and determined to get the best out of all of my students.
I hold a BA honours in Creative Writing and Media as well as an MA in Teaching. I specialise in making learning fun, engaging and dynamic to achieve the best results for all of my students. I pride myself on helping the young people that I tutor become more confident, more resilient, more positive about learning/school.
I aim to instil a growth mindset which is conducive to success in all areas of learning and life in general. I have a keen interest in fitness as a healthy body means a healthy mind.
I have been a qualified teacher for 10 years with experience of working in a range of different learning institutions, these include mainstream primary and secondary, SEN primary and secondary and pupil referral units and alternative provisions.
I have been a private tutor for over 6 years with a positive track record of helping ALL of my students pass their SATS, 11+ tests or English GCSEs.
I also run an organisation centred around helping young people to prosper.
I am a physical personal trainer for adults and children focussing on diet, well being and all round positive physical and mental health.
I aim to make learning fun, engaging and memorable. My lessons often involve learning games, movement and dialogue in order to boost concentration and focus as research shows this is how young people best learn. I believe that the best way to learn, is to do. I implement a hands on approach to help my students gain confidence so that they can work well independently and apply their gained knowledge.
