Donna provided excellent tuition for our daughter for double award science, helping her to increase her grades from 4 - 4 to 6 -6 in one year.

She provided focused, carefully planned sessions and increased our daughter’s confidence and knowledge enormously. Would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Donna has tutored my daughter for her GCSEs in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths for the past couple of years. From the off, I cannot express how grateful I am and so glad that I found her on this site. Donna is professional but has also been so great with doing her best to accommodate my daughter when we had emergencies pop up and was always happy to reschedule. Her knowledge and way of explaining complex topics is so brilliant that my daughter always came out of her lesson so happy that she finally understood a topic she didn't at school. She excelled and I'm so happy to say she aced her GCSEs with 9s in Sciences and 8 in Maths! Thank you Donna! Could not recommend her enough.

Donna adapts each session to what our daughter wants to focus on and is great at breaking concepts down and explaining them clearly.

During the session Donna asks questions to test knowledge and understanding and makes links back to content covered on previous sessions. She encourages our daughter to input and answer questions herself and expands on answers, explaining where the all important, extra marks could be given on exam questions.

Hi, I would highly recommed Donna after trying 2 other tutors somewhere else for my daughter's A Level Biology. Before I found Donna, I was let down by the 2 tutors for not willing to provide any practice questions after the lessons or moaned about being asked to help with her school homework even my daughter was so struggled. As most of the AL biology exam questions are application in nature, it makes more sense to have a lot of practices to test out students understanding. Donna was very hardworking and amazingly good at managing teaching, homework practices and past paper practices all in one week. From Bubble

Donna has been working with my son for a few weeks and has already gained his trust and they have a established a great rapport. His confidence is improving week by week and he actually looks forward to his lessons each week.

Donna is very organized and very focused throughout the lesson. She spends time working through exam questions and explaining how marks are gained. She is friendly and pleasant but also expects high levels of concentration from my daughter. Donna sets and marks homework too. We have moved to zoom lessons during Covid and these are working well.
