Hi, I'm Edit, I'm a freelance writer and a student of Psychology and Spanish at the University of Glasgow. I'm the Child Protection Officer of Sexpression:Glasgow (we teach near-peer sex education), and previously had been the Training Officer. I love languages and linguistics, and I have a life-long love for books and stories. I find science - both natural and social - fascinating.
I have been tutoring English as a foreign language since 2016, and have started doing so with my own lesson plans in early 2020. I have worked with students from various backgrounds, including immigrants.
The most important thing to learn a language is to enjoy it. I believe that the only way someone will learn anything is if they can let go of their fears and embrace the experience. I plan classes that are fun, and cultivate an atmosphere where students enjoy themselves and where making mistakes is just another part of learning.
