Hello! I am Eleanor and I am an English Second Language Teacher offering friendly, flexible, and personalised lessons. I am TEFL certified, and a University graduate with a degree in Geography from the University of St Andrews. I am from Edinburgh, Scotland. Tutoring Experience

I have experience teaching adults both on line and in person. I have tutored privately on line, as well as small groups of adults in person. For these classes I created tailored lesson plans to make sure the lessons were both interesting and beneficial for the students.

Tutoring Approach

I make sure to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in my classes. Every class you will learn and practice new language, based around real-world topics and news. I incorporate as many authentic English materials as possible - such as articles, music and videos - and the key is to make sure you can practice speaking, so the student will always be encouraged to talk!
