I am a passionate tutor, who is willing to teach a range of subjects. I achieved a 2:1 with Honours in a BSc Biomedical Science degree, Distinction in MSc Molecular Biology

I am currently studying Medicine at a UK university and I have been achieving a first class in each of my modules.

I have over 7 years experience of tutoring students with proven track record of student satisfactions and improvements in their grades.

I can provide Enhanced DBS certificate upon request.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored many Primary, Secondary, GCSE and A-level students since I left Sixth form myself therefore, I have a great depth of knowledge of what the examiners are looking for in order to be within the top percentile! Furthermore, I have taught various undergraduate as well as Master's students Biology related topics. I am also tutoring and mentoring medical students both preclinical knowledge and clinical knowledge.

To obtain expertise, I worked in well-known tuition centres as well as numerous exceptional grammar schools. I have achieved positive outcomes from my tutoring services and constantly aim to assist my pupils succeed. You will benefit from my undivided attention with one-on-one tutoring rather than group-based learning when you use my services.

Recently, ALL my A-level students have successfully secured a seat in a range of science degrees from Medicine (both graduate entry and Undergraduate entry), Dentistry, Biomedical sciences. ALL my previous University students have obtained distinctions in their BSc and MSc dissertations/thesis or exams.

Tutoring Approach

Teaching students and making each one of them excel is my number one priority on my list always! I am able to adjust my teaching techniques depending on the student's requirements and wishes. Personally I start from basics if it is needed then work up towards the more challenging areas of the topic and end with answering exam style questions together on the given topic. However this can be adjusted depending on the student's teaching desire. I make all of the presentation myself along with the worksheets and homework that will be provided.

At the end of the session, will provide personalised notes tailored specifically for the student with homework attached to consolidate on their learning via email or via an online platform. By determining the student's present level of comprehension, I am able to identify and eradicate weaknesses.

I believe online tutoring to be incredibly successful since it provides a peaceful and comfortable setting in which to study. Online tuition promotes independence, gives students time to reflect, and simulates the exam-style setting! Each student receives their own personalised lesson, but without the awkward and often terrifying feeling of a teacher staring over their shoulder as they write, as is common with traditional one-to-one instruction.
