I am a scientist who leads and deliver research in virology at a University in London.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I contributed to many radio and TV programmes to help the public make sense of the virus, the tests, the lockdowns and the new vaccines!
15+ years in academia.
For the past 4 years, as Assistant Professor/Lecturer at a London University, I have been delivering lectures in medical microbiology, clinical pharmacology and virology. For many years, I taught an "introduction to biology" aimed at University students with no A levels in biology.
I am passionate about bringing the scientific knowledge from the research lab to the people out in the real world, starting with students! Being a student juggling many subjects can be challenging and "biology" as a subject is constantly evolving due to amazing advances in research, so I am very happy to support your learning!
