Hi, I’m Beth. I am a Chemistry BSc graduate from the University of York with A-Levels in Chemistry, Maths, and Physics, and will be joining the University of Edinburgh in September to pursue an MSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry.
I worked as an academic mentor to first-year students during my BSc, supporting them with lecture content and exam preparation. I look forward to bringing this experience to my tutoring of GCSE and A-level students. I’m confident teaching Chemistry at both A-level and GCSE, as well as Maths and Physics at GCSE level.
Every student has their own unique learning style and academic needs, so I aim to tailor each lesson to suit both the individual and the subject. My teaching is flexible and responsive, evolving as the student gains confidence and develops their understanding. As an online tutor, I’m able to draw on a wide range of digital resources and interactive tools to make lessons dynamic, engaging, and effective. This approach encourages students to take an active role in their learning and helps deepen their understanding of key concepts.
