Hi! I'm Ella, a Bioinformatics MSc graduate with eight years of experience in tutoring, and I’m here to help students reach their potential in maths and biology. With a First-Class Honours degree in Biology, 4 A*s at A-level (including full marks in Maths), and 10 A*s at GCSE, I have a strong academic background that I’m excited to share with my students..

Tutoring Experience

Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of tutoring students of all ages and abilities, from KS2 up to A-level, in maths and biology. I’m particularly experienced in helping students succeed in their GCSE and A-level Mathematics, giving them the skills they need to pass their exams and pursue their next steps.

Tutoring Approach

Over the years, I’ve discovered software that makes online tuition as seamless as possible, allowing me to explain challenging concepts visually and verbally. I work closely with students to understand their goals and create a personalized plan to help them succeed, maintaining open communication and regularly providing feedback to parents.

If desired, I’m happy to set and mark work and send helpful resources to support independent study. I’m also available between sessions to answer questions and support students who may need a little extra help. I’m always here to make learning as smooth and enjoyable as possible!
