I am a qualified teacher, with a PhD in chemistry. I love teaching and I help tutees with whatever their goal, whether it is to improve a grade for an exam or simply to better understand the material taught at school/university.
I am available to tutor at your home or from my home, and am happy for chaperones to be present during sessions. I am not available on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings.

Tutoring Experience

Teacher of Chemistry:
I am a full time teacher of chemistry in Hull. I am responsible for the teaching of a wide range of year groups, including AQA GCSE and A-Level.

Tutoring:
I also experience tutoring and teaching Higher and National 5 Chemistry, as well as IB and university level courses. I have a good grasp of the exam curriculae and am able to tailor the lesson to the needs of the student.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that going through past paper questions is a great way of getting to grips with the material, and I ask a lot of questions to help discover gaps in knowledge and test students' understanding.
