I'm a well educated lively tutor. I'm ambitious, academic and enjoy helping others solve problems. I have much personal experience with achieving success in exams, and wish to help more students do the same.
II hold a BSc in Psychology from Cardiff University, where I delved into statistics, research design, and explored clinical and neurobiological aspects of the human brain. Additionally, I earned an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from Durham University, focusing on clinical and cognitive neuroscience, programming, and scientific literature analysis, including further statistics modules. Recently completing my PhD in Neuropsychology at the University of Birmingham, I am well-versed in statistical analysis and equipped to offer support in psychology and neuroscience up to university level. Furthermore, I offer services in proofreading dissertations, personal statements, and scientific papers. With experience teaching A level Psychology across all exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR), I am adept at helping students excel in their studies.
I tailor each tutoring session to the pupil's wishes and needs. My approach is strongly focused on exam technique, practise and eradicating fears of exam papers. Exams are effective in highlighting weak areas, then I break down into individual topics, then teach the basics and build back up to exam standard.
