I am a semi-retired teacher working four days a week tutoring online, where I work to a timetable which makes me extremely reliable. This is my third year tutoring students in England, Scotland and Azerbaijan.

Located in the far north of the UK I find it easiest to tutor online.

Tutoring Experience

I have decades of experience of teaching in the classroom and explaining subjects to students. I cover Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE/Nat 5, Chemistry and Biology to Higher and Biology to A-Level. I have also been an examiner and worked with the SQA exam board in both Chemistry and Biology.

I currently cover the AQA exam board, the OCR exam board and the SQA exam boards

Tutoring Approach

I prefer the tutorial approach where we discuss things together. If a student gives the right answer I want to know they understand why it is the right answer and if they give a wrong answer than I am really interested in unpicking the misunderstanding.
