Erin

My name is Erin and I am currently studying Chemistry at the University of Manchester. I am in my third year and I have achieved a first in my examinations for year 1 and 2. I am going to start my PGCE in September 2023 as I wish to become a secondary science teacher, specialising in Chemistry.

I enjoy teaching as it is something I am very passionate about!

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored on a small scale for over 6 months in science at secondary level. I have also lead my own 1-1 sessions and group sessions during my school placements this year.

Tutoring Approach

I am very keen to allow children to consolidate their learning by asking questions. The more questions, the better! I also make my lessons fun by lots of interactive work throughout the lesson. I will tailor each lesson for you as the student and make sure you have every chance at the best success.

I also believe past paper questions are the best tools to really help students prepare for examinations so I will always include exam style questions in my lessons.
