Tutoring Experience
I am a full time History teacher in an Independent School in Surrey. I work with a wide range of students aspiring to achieve 4 to 9 at GCSE level. I have experience supporting SEN students in achieving their potential. I am currently an examiner for AQA and marked the first year of the new syllabus. I specialise in AQA GCSE teaching and Edexcel A Level modules.
Tutoring Approach
History should be exciting and engaging. I believe that a diverse range of activities, discussions and reading material can support understanding and help students succeed in historical comprehension. Exam practice and understanding the mark scheme is vital in achieving the higher levels both at GCSE and A Level.
