Esther was brilliant in helping me through my German A-Level. Esther was patient and attentive to help find the best way to both tutor me and to also highlight my strengths and weaknesses, which could then be focused on. She went above and beyond in providing resources for areas of the language such as grammar to help boost my learning. An area that I had struggled with was speaking. Esther gave great care and detail to this area which not only boosted my confidence in speaking German but to also excel in my speaking exam. Her knowledge of Germanic culture made the lessons fun but also gave me some great extra knowledge to use in my exams. Finally, Esther's dedication can be shown in my results as after being predicted low E's in my mock exams, I received a C in my final A-Level.

Esther tutored my son in Year 11. Initially, my son had no confidence in German and was only doing it because his school insisted on him taking a language. I have seen him grow in confidence ever since he started the tuition with Esther. She has gone over and above on many occasions. Giving feedback on my sons work outside of lessons and keeping me informed of his progress. She was 100% invested in ensuring my son performed to his best ability in his GCSE's, helping him the night before the exam etc. In the end my son achieved a 6, despite it being his weakest subject and not putting in enough revision. We would highly recommend Esther to anyone looking for a German tutor.

Esther was a very good teacher. We went at a pace that suited my learning style. When correcting my coursework Esther's comments were always clear & helpful. Esther is exactly what I was looking for - a tutor to have relaxed conversation with but who would point out errors and introduce some grammar without making it heavy. This is important to me as I want to brush up and get more fluent but I'm not taking exams so for me it is a leisure pursuit.

We called on Esther late in the day to help our dyslexic son learn German for GCSE. The previous tutor supplied by the school was not helping due to a leck of empathy. Esther was kind, patient and understanding and despite the shortage of time from Christmas to the exams, brought our son up from a borderline C/D to achieve a B at GCSE, for which we are all very grateful.

We have had a good first session with Esther. She is very nice and everything about her was fine. We will be pleased to give further feedback after a few more sessions.

I have weekly conversation lessons with Esther and she has really helped to improve my fluency. Esther makes the lessons very enjoyable, whilst at the same time ensuring she corrects my grammar and pronunciation.
