My name is Esther and I am an experienced Key Stage 3-4 secondary school maths teacher. I have worked as a full-time teacher for six years and I have prepared children for Foundation and Higher exams both. I know the curriculum well and I have solid experience in being able to identify topics your child may find tricky. In my free time I love to go swimming, walking and learning languages.
I am currently a secondary school Maths teacher with six years of experience teaching full-time.
I believe that every child has a talent and nobody is hopeless at anything- therefore I put a lot of emphasis on creating a solid and relaxed relationship with my students which enables them to engage with the material and strengthens their self-confidence. I usually do 'needs analysis' by chatting to them initially and after identifying problems, I vary activities in order for them to get a greater picture and to address misconceptions.
