An enthusiastic yet calmly compassionate, PGCE certified, Maths, English and Physical Education (P.E.) teacher. Over two years teaching experience and over 8 years of sports coaching experience. 100% pass and success rate for A Level / GCSE Maths, English and P.E. since I began teaching in 2022.

All of my tutoring resources are included in the tuition and these will be used during sessions together and have proven to help my students gain amazing results.

Academically, I have a BSc. Degree and a Secondary PGCE (MA.). I am passionate about teaching and learning and this shows in my approach to education.

Outside of teaching I enjoy playing a variety of sports, such as, badminton, pickleball and football. I have been playing football since I was around 5 years old and I have been coaching my own football teams for around 8 years.

Tutoring Experience

I have had my own tutoring company since mid 2023 and I have delivered hundreds of lessons over the last few years. I have helped students achieve great results in their exams and have helped to build confidence in a wide array of subjects.

I have worked in a number of schools (both SEN and mainstream) across Sheffield as a P.E. teacher. This has enabled me to develop my teaching skill set and adapt my skills to a wide range of pupil needs. I have experience with a number of different additional needs, including ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia.

Tutoring Approach

Revising content for exams is only one part of ensuring exam success. Learning how to answer exam questions in the ways that gets you the marks is another. This is why I always take a focus on practicing questions from past exams so that you know exactly what to expect when it comes time for the real thing. I also go through mark schemes and model solutions to show you exactly how to achieve top marks.

A common issue I have found whilst tutoring, is students feeling as though they don't know HOW to revise. This is why I go through an array of revision techniques to find the right fit for each student. This approach has ensured that all of my students have passed their exams after having tuition sessions with me.
