Having recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 in Maths and Economics I've moved back to my hometown of Monmouth. Whilst studying at Monmouth Comprehensive School I achieved an A* in GCSE Mathematics and an A at A-level.
Previously I've volunteered helping students prepare for their GCSE Maths Exams. I found this experience extremely rewarding and I am looking to develop this further.
Developing a concrete understanding of key conceptual principals within maths is the first step to being able to answer tricky questions. By applying these principals to questions and working through them thoroughly, you not only develop your maths ability but also your confidence. Both factors are crucial when in an exam. The deconstruction of previous past paper questions is also a needed step however that comes closer to the exam period after all topics have been covered.
