Tutoring Experience

Over the last ten years, I tutored students from 13 to 45 years old. I provided both French language lessons and music theory lessons, both in person and online.

Tutoring Approach

• My approach is very interactive and adapts to the needs of the student. I start with a frank conversation about the student's objectives and propose a plan to reach them.
• I encourage the student to speak from day one. I make the most of the lesson time by listening to the student and proposing concise and relevant comments and feedback.
• The lesson structure can vary. We can spend an hour in conversation, or dive into vocabulary or grammar exercises, text analysis or even school work. We will focus on what you need most right now.
• The lesson is typically an hour long but we can make it shorter for beginners, or longer (and dive deeper!) I charge pro-rata (£20/h).
• The lessons are for students of all ages and levels. I have taught secondary school students, university students and established professionals.
