Hello! I am an enthusiastic scientist and I really enjoy helping other people engage with intersting topics. In particular, I have a keen interest in Chemistry and Physics and I have a place to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge this autumn. I love music (I have been drumming for around 10 years and recently began learning the guitar) and I enjoy learning languages (I have C1 certified Spanish and B2 certified French). I am always keen to meet new students and see how I can support them.

Tutoring Experience

With over two years of tutoring experience under my belt, I have tutored various subjects (from Chemistry to Maths to Physics to Spanish), various levels (from GCSE to undergraduate) and in various places both online and in-person. Having sat GCSEs and A-levels myself, I know first-hand what methods are most effective and I am confident that I can help students prepare for these exams.

Tutoring Approach

In the last two years of tutoring, I have found the best way to teach is using interactive whiteboards and past paper questions in 1 to 1 lessons. My lessons are most effective when students complete work before the lesson to prepare and after the lesson to reinforce, which is where exam practise is most useful. I always make sure that we have a goal in mind and tailor lessons to meet these goals using a variety of resources.
