Hello, I am Eve. From my Master's degree in at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, I gained practical theatre training and graduated with a Distinction.
Before that, I attained a First-class BA from the University of Bristol. This gave me a rigorous appreciation for writing and researching. I was able to thrive academically.
I followed this with teaching courses in both English and Drama, equipping me to teach both one-to-one and group lessons. I have a love for knowledge and great enthusiasm for life which I bring into my tutoring sessions!
Whether you or your child need help with an audition, an essay or an exam, I am happy to assist you. I am passionate about teaching and would love to help you build confidence and achieve success at whatever you put your mind to be it English, Drama, Media or Film Studies.
With over 1000 hours of tutoring experience, I have worked with those of all nationalities aged 2-65 and helped students to lift their grades by up to 4 levels.
I leverage my creative background to bring joy and focus to all my sessions. Balancing practical know-how and academic expertise, I help students discover their unique skills and build confidence.
Recommendation:
'Eve tutored my son in GCSE Drama, English, History and Spanish. He found her teaching to be very clear and he required a great understanding of all the subjects taught, which was reflected in his very improved grades. Eve has a natural enthusiasm for teaching and an excellent ability to communicate with people. I would give her my highest recommendation as a tutor. Eve was very keen to get the best out of her student and her encouragement yielded great results!'
I find working one-to-one with students very satisfying and am happy to adapt to your (or your child's) needs.
If you have more than one child or wish to study with a friend, I am happy to negotiate fees for back-to-back sessions or teach both learners together. If you simply want to learn for pleasure, do get in touch!
