Farah

I am currently the Head of Psychology at an outstanding school in the UK and the Assistant Head of Higher Education and Head of Higher Education Applications. I am also working on my Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD) and hoping to submit my final thesis in early 2025. I have 12 years of teaching experience and I am very passionate about Psychology and my love of the subject helps me in supporting my students to succeed. Working with Sixth Form students and helping them in achieving their A Levels is something that I am able to do very well as I have a track record of supporting students achieve their targets and beyond.

Tutoring Experience

• I teach OCR A Level Psychology and my strengths are in helping students condense the content to a more manageable level.
• I am able to support the students with all aspects in Paper 2 and 3 (child development and crime in the options). And research methods (experiments, correlations, observations, and self reports) in Paper 1.

Tutoring Approach

• My approach is helping the student build a love for the subject so that they are able to understand it more.
• I am keen on helping the students develop strong time management so that they are able to finish the exam on time.
• I am particularly strong is supporting students in developing their answering technique in a way that will help them access top mark bands.
• I also provide students with all the material they need (PPTs, exam practice questions, past papers etc).
