I am an experienced primary school teacher with years of full time teaching experience. I teach because I am passionate and strive to help each individual child achieve their potential. I use a variety of different teaching methods, planned specifically for your child and their individual needs, in order to ensure they make the best progress possible and also gain confidence in their own abilities to achieve. I have been in teaching profession for over 15 years and have taught Early years, KS 1 and KS 2. I have high expectations of myself and all my students and strongly believe that every child is gifted, they just unwrap their packages at different times.

Tutoring Experience

I have been in teaching profession for over 15 years. Due to my full time teaching commitments and my role as a Maths Lead/ Primary Mastery Maths Specialist I tend to take no more than maximum 5 students for one to one tutoring. I have tutored for a company called "Deepening Understanding" and at home. All my previous student made excellent progress and achieved their goals.

Tutoring Approach

Personal one to one approach that can be matched to the students needs and set at the level that is appropriate for that student. My lessons are interactive and involve multiple representations to suit different learning styles -using concrete, visual and abstract resources.
