Hi I’m Fatima, a first year medical student at The University of St Andrews. Having recently completed my A levels in biology, chemistry and maths, I am passionate about helping students excel in their studies. I understand the challenges of these subjects firsthand, and I am dedicated to supporting students in mastering difficult concepts.

I have been tutoring for a year on platforms like MyTutor, and my students have seen a huge improvement in their abilities.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are student-led, and I focus on boosting confidence through exam practice and finding the right revision strategies. I use resources like save my exams and maths made easy, which have notes, exam questions and mark schemes. These websites have been really beneficial for my students, helping them get familiar with the types of questions they will be asked in the exam, boosting their confidence. At the end of the lesson, the student will receive some homework on the content that we have covered in the lesson, and I will mark it in my own time and provide feedback.
