Hi! My name is Fergus, and I am a Russian language enthusiast, from Ireland. After studying Russian at Bachelor's level, I have used my Russian language skills in a variety of exciting contexts around the world; from translating documents for charities to interviewing important Russian-speaking figures.

After learning so much from my brushes with the beautiful Russian language, I want to help you to become the best Russian student you can be, and hopefully inspire a love of the Russian language and Russian speaking world.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught language in classrooms in Russia and then online for a total of 2 years. I helped students in all aspects, from technical grammar to basic conversation and listening.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is focused on applicability of Russian language skills; you aren't learning Russian just for the grade, but to use the language! I will teach you practical grammar, but ultimately focus on helping you to learn how to speak, listen, and write in Russian. These are the real skills which will stick with you for life.
