I am a recent graduate in Modern Languages looking to encourage and assist other language learners. I am passionate about language and education and eager to help learners where I can.

Tutoring Experience

I undertook a three week internship in Summer 2024 at Cardinal Hume Catholic School in Gateshead, where I provided classroom support and created classroom materials. I enjoyed interacting with students and supporting their learning.

Tutoring Approach

I believe in engaging with students as individuals and working with them rather than prescribing. My experience as a home educated student myself has taught me a lot about the importance of engaged learning and the need for students to see the real-life application of the skills they learn. I want to help learners appreciate what a useful and exciting skill a foreign language is.
