Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for the past 12 years and have worked across a variety of settings and with a variety of students. In the last 7 years I have set up the Psychology department at a top independent school in Surrey. The school is high performance and the department have excellent results with the 2024 cohort achieving 96% A*-B, 73% A*-A.

I have taught in a Sixth Form Boarding school and prior to that worked in a Sixth Form College. I have taught AQA B spec, the new AQA 2015 specification and have tutored AQA A, Edexcel and OCR in the past.

I am an examiner for AQA A Level Psychology.

Tutoring Approach

I take a very student directed approach to tutoring and build on the work being covered within the classroom. I ensure students have a range of techniques at their disposal to help their consolidation of the content, as well as a broad understanding of the demands of the exam questions.

I have availability over the holidays for both group and single tutorials. In sssition, I also offer intensive revision sessions for individuals and groups.
