I am an individual who loves learning. This is evident through my own studies, but I am also passionate about encouraging others to learn and reach their potential, no matter their current level. I am enthusiastic, compassionate, understanding, and believe no one should be held back from achieving the exam results they deserve.
I have tutored in both a school environment and online. I helped set up a tutoring programme at my secondary school helping pupils of all ages succeed in exams, but also to give support with homework and general revision guidance. I have also worked online with a professional company helping students work towards their A-level exams, and being a student having gone through this process over the last few years, I think I am best equipped to give guidance in this space.
I like to be supportive but not overly interventionist. This means that I work in the way that the student wishes, meaning I will listen and plan accordingly. I have access to some amazing resources and so I like to use variety in my tutoring, whether that be going over concepts, practice questions, or past papers. I aim to use a variety of methods to make sessions both engaging and constructive, but most importantly I am flexible while having the ability to bring experience in terms of tutoring and sitting exams in the not so distant past.
