As a busy mum of 3, life is a constant juggling act! I enjoy working in our Woodlot on Caerlaverock Estate and as a family we enjoy supporting our local football team, Queen of the South.

Tutoring Experience

I have 17 years worth of primary teaching experience across a wide range of schools across Dumfries and Galloway. I have taught all stages from primary 1 through to p7 with responsibility for the planning, delivery and evaluation of the quality teaching and learning.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is always a mix of active learning experiences as well as more ‘chalk and talk’ approach. A blend of these experiences helps to initiate new learning and embed and consolidate previous skills.
