I found a good Chemistry A-Level Tutor at Numberprep for my daughter. Excellent teaching and to a high standard. During the pandemic, they had alternative online lessons and sorted out any issues quickly. Would recommend!

The service provided by Gavin and his team at Numberprep is excellent. They were very helpful and flexible in setting up sessions and my daughter's A level Maths has really come on since starting lessons with her tutor.

Tutors are good but contacting numberprep group and receiving a reply is difficult. Need to be more prompt in replying.

Numberprep have been so useful. They have provided me with brilliant resources and lots of practice questions for my A2 chemistry retake. The concepts are explained really well and the homework given helped in solidifying my knowledge.

The Number Prep team has significantly improved my confidence in tackling difficult exam style questions for A Level Maths. As I am retaking some modules from my AS, the content is kept fresh in my memory with regular testing on formula and equations which have also helped with the new A2 modules. The tutors are very approachable and are willing to go over things as many times as it takes for you to understand.

Gavin is very helpful and clearly knows what is needed to get an A* at a level. He is very interactive and provides a fun and entertaining session no matter what the topic. I would highly recommend Gavin to all, he is very supportive and friendly, engaging with anyone.

Gavin has been very supportive and helped develop my sons' confidence in Maths.
He and his team have a range of experience and an incredible set up. The resources they have are the most impressive I have seen with relevant material for every stage and topic necessary. Every child I have seen work with them has come out of their session smiling and well prepared for the following week.
My sons are aged 8 and 10 and are comfortable going to their weekly sessions and feel that they are learning and consolidating every time.
Gavin has been quick to check my views on the homework set and takes on board parental concerns regarding the children.

So far so good but we start my sons tutoring in September. Gavin has been efficient , curtious and helpful in discussing how best to help my son prepare for his exams.

Gavin's maths lessons have been a huge help to our son who had been an A* student and then fallen behind in Y10. Gavin and his team have filled in the gaps, reinforced learning and built confidence. He is now performing as a top set maths student.

Gavin tutored my daughter for AS Level maths.He was extremely accommodating bearing in mind this was a last minute thought a few weeks before the exams. She found him to be totally professional and efficient and he explained topics in a way that she understood. Gavin also went above and beyond in that he offered help via email and telephone in between sessions if necessary, and even made himself available for a late night panic question the night before the final paper. Gavin runs an effective team of young, enthusiastic and patient tutors who have helped two of my children with their GCSE work and revision. Both children have found it very useful and have asked for additional tuition.

My son has found the maths support he has been receiving to be extremely beneficial. Having performed well below expectations in his AS, he is no back up to A/B levels and is looking forward to his A2 exams with much more confidence.

He's found Gavin to be an extremely good tutor and I would have no hesitation in recommending him based on the results I've seen so far. Of course, we still need to wait to see what happens in the actual exams.

Also worth noting that there is a significant onus on the student. They need to be willing to take responsibility, be organised, work hard and want to achieve themselves. Without that, no degree of tutoring will help!

Gavin and his team of tutors have helped one of my daughters with preparation for GCSE maths, and another in preparing for 13+scholarship exams. They have both found the lessons extremely helpful, and have got on very well with the tutors. The lessons are well prepared and consequently a lot is covered in each lesson, with appropriate homework being set each time to follow up on the topics covered. My daughters have enjoyed the lessons and have increased in confidence as a result. I will be using Gavin again in the future, and would recommend him to others.

Gavin has supported my daughter throughout the AS Maths course. He has been excellent at motivating my daughter to work hard and has been able to help her understand anything she did not understand at school. The best reference is that my daughter did not complain once during the year about attending a session with Gavin or doing homework for him. My daughter achieved an A grade at AS level and has now decided to carry on to A2 level since she has learnt to enjoy maths so much following Gavin's sessions.

Gavin was incredibly helpful in the lead up to my GCSE exams. He was engaging and hard working, and was full of patience. I am certain that he has increased my grade and would advise anyone looking for a good tutor to go to him.

We feel that Gavin has made a very positive impact on Will's understanding, motivation and potential results at a late stage in C1/C2/S1 Maths. Will has happily attended all sessions and completed work outside the sessions. He says that explanations were thorough, exam-relevant work was set, the tutors were easy to talk to, and all very helpful. He has a better understanding of topics he was struggling with, eg. logs and binomial expansion. We can see he has been much more confident for the Y12 exams, and will be continuing through Year 13. Wish we had started earlier!

Thank you for providing outstanding maths tuition for Lewis whilst preparing for his A Levels, and also for fitting us in at short notice. Lewis' grades for the test paper improved dramatically in a relatively short space of time, and he would return from the sessions fully engaged and excited about the content you had covered and how he "now got it". I liked the way you always pushed and encouraged him, whilst focusing on the modules he was struggling with, which is exactly what he needed. The sessions really boosted his confidence and he was fully prepared for his exams which, as you are aware, he has now taken.

I have made great progress in the short space of time I have had with Gavin. He immediately targeted any areas I wasn't comfortable with on the syllabus and works very hard to make sure I understand them by the end of the session.
