Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 16 years, I currently teach an Upper KS2 class. Teaching for me is a true vocation, as I believe it is a privilege to be able to nurture, and make a positive difference in the lives of children. I feel proud and fortunate to be fulfilling my ambition of being a teacher, and I am hugely excited about a further opportunity to build trusting and respectful relationships with children on an individual basis. I am an enthusiastic, understanding and caring person who has a positive attitude.

Tutoring Approach

I try to create a stimulating and welcoming environment, where every child feels valued and secure. I ensure that each child I work with, is given the right support, patience and nurturing within a stimulating, caring atmosphere, allowing them to develop self confidence, self respect and a passion for learning. I believe in motivating and challenging children so they achieve their full potential academically, socially, morally and emotionally. I aim to cater for children's individual needs and have a sound knowledge of Special Educational Needs.
