I am an experienced Religious Studies and Philosophy teacher with an excellent track record of results both at GCSE and A Level. I am personable, approachable and aim to facilitate learning so that it is fun, engaging and purposeful.

At A Level, I specialise in Ethics and Philosophy. My exam specialism is WJEC/Eduqas GCE/A Level Religious Studies. I cover the following areas: Determinism, Free Will, normative ethics (Utilitarianism, Natural Law and Situation Ethics), religious experiences, the philosophy of psychology, religious language and the problem of good and evil. I can offer high quality, comprehensive essay writing and revision techniques.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Religious Studies and Philosophy for over four years, achieving consistently outstanding results.

I have led a Religious Studies department as well as been an Academic Leader for a GCSE cohort, accountable for the tracking and success of a department and year group.
