A Maths teacher with over 30 years' experience. I've taught in International Schools, Sixth-form colleges and independent schools. After a degree in Maths and Physics from BristoI University I completed my PGCE at Homerton College Cambridge. I offer online and in person tuition for: 13+ common entrance, KS3, GCSE and A Level. My experience is very broad, for example, I've taught all the 5 A Level syllabuses available in England and Wales.
Having also been a GCSE Maths examiner, I have a head for the type of questions that come up and how to get the maximum marks. For many years I was head of maths, and developed with a colleague, an alternative syllabus to A Level accepted by some universities. I have a wealth of experience teaching international, as well as British, students. I have a TEFL certificate and have developed resources for international pupils.
I focus on each individual student's situation and needs, helping them to build confidence and consequently enjoy Maths more! I direct students to helpful resources and methods of study, aiming to empower them to work through Maths problems with more confidence and a sense of achievement.
