My son was really struggling with his higher maths and George made a positive impact from the very first session. He was able to explain things really well and my son likes him (which is certainly not the case with all teachers!).

I have found communications with George to be very easy and informative. He gives me feedback on how the sessions are progressing and is always very prompt in replying to any queries I have.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend George as a tutor

My daughter is really engaged with George's unique style of tutoring her in Higher Maths! He has great patience and is creative in finding solutions to her learning blocks. He manages to distil topics into easy to follow steps which can then be applied as needed.30+ years after sitting my A level I am loving the maths and confident that I can then reinforce learning with my daughter. I'm just sad that we cannot meet in person. The IT is a bit clunky. My only suggestion would be to think about an extra camera focused on his written examples which could then be screen-shared with us instead of holding papers up to the screen.

I deliberated for some time over whether or not to find a maths tutor for my 10 year old daughter. I am so pleased that i did and i thoroughly recommend George . He is transforming my daughter from maths shy to maths confident. George makes maths fun for her and has captured her imagination. In a large school class this had not been possible, and she was struggling. I am so grateful to George.

George was an excellent tutor for my son. He was very patient and had a deep knowledge of the subject material as well as knowledge on the best way to tackle the exam. We had very little time to get my son prepared for his maths higher but George went out of his way to schedule him in as many times as possible before the exam date. My son went into the exam with confidence and came out of the exam with confidence. Now we await the results!
