Hi, I'm Georgina, an English Literatue graduate from Goldsmiths, University of London. I have a passion for analysis and storytelling and write articles and music professionally. As well as creative writing I regularly write essays post-university. To engage with texts on a cellular level is what brings me most satisfaction and what makes English Literature a truly fascinating subject.
I have shared my passion for English Literature readily for a long time. I worked as a teaching assisstant at Bucksmore Education, teaching Shakespeare's plays to break down the complexity of English as a second language. I have also tutored students in my community through their GCSE's, guiding them through literary analysis, exam techniques and how to have a unique voice when writing essays.
The most important element to achieving any subject is to enjoy it. With Literature, this is usually achieved through discussion. I like to encourage students to foster their own point of view and listen to their own insticts when it comes to forming theories and arguments about a text. The point of writing essays is to hone the skill of critical thinking, analysis and argumentation. These are the skills I wish to impart onto my students that will take them into the exam room and beyond with confidence in their own discernment.
