I am an MFL teacher, I intended to retire part time and I am very interested in tutoring. I have been teaching online during lockdown and really enjoyed it.
I have been teaching for 16 years, from KS3 to ALevel. In the last two years, I was working as a Head Of Department, developing the curriculum and strategies to interest students to study languages. I have also coached NQT and ECT.
I aim to interest students to study the language by introducing authentic texts/videos/ music. I like using thinking skills in my teaching and I believe retrieval activities are essential for making progress.
