Gerard is a complete gentleman who has encouraged and nurtured my son to achieve top results. My son has really enjoyed the time he has spent with Gerard.

Gérard is extremely proficient and excellent at teaching Maths. I've had him teach my kids just for a couple of months and the improvement of my kids is so noticeable. He's built in them confidence, speed and great techniques in solving issues. He is just awesome. My kids are always looking forward to see him for the next lesson. That's just impressive.

Gerard is a talented teacher who explains concepts very clearly and systematically. He is super patient and my son has really gained in confidence and ability with maths in the few lessons that he has had. highly recommended!

We asked Gerard to tutor our girls (twins) for the 11+, for the maths part.Personally,Gerard is immediately likeable,friendly and very positive ; professionally,he is clear ,logical and always well prepared .He has excellent one-to-one skills,which enable him to establish a good rapport with the girls.I wish I`d`ve had a teacher/tutor in Maths like him ! Very highly recommended

I would not hesitate to recommend Gerard as an excellent tutor. He has tutored my 9 year old daughter since May of this year whilst in Year 4 and into Year 5. Due to his excellent , logical and practical teaching methods I now have a confident 9 year old daughter who is not overwhelmed by the subject is methodical and is willing to tackle Maths problems independently and with confidence.

Gerard started tutoring my 3 children aged 7, 10 and 15 in the summer term of this year.(GSCE and Primary Maths)
During this period I have seen vast improvements in all their Maths abilities.
Gerards teaching methods are tailored to suit the individual needs of each of my children in a way that they understand. He can make the most challenging of lessons fun and enjoyable, which is a plus especially for my 7 year old.

We are delighted with Garard. My son like any 13yr old boy was very aprehensive about having a tutor but as soon as we meet Gerard we knew my son would like him. He is very friendly,patience and understanding he is very good in his way of explaining maths . my sons self esteem and confidence was very low but since Gerard has been tutoring him he is now graining more confindent we would highly recommend Gerard and My son also wishes he was his maths teacher at school too. We've just started lessons and are delighted with the progress achieved already. Gerard is a very professional and organised teacher, tackling each problem in a considered and systematic way, working with the student to maximise their potential. The result is that after just a couple of lessons confidence is already starting to improve. Gerard has been teaching our daughter maths since August 2010. He is always punctual, accomodating and organised. Our daughter seems very comfortable with him. Her knowledge of maths and overall confidence is increasing. Gerard's lessons are a good balance of being a challenge as well as supportive. The feedback we receive from Gerard is detailed,accurate and always with a positive take on things. We are sure that our daughter will continue to improve with his help.

My Daughter has now been having extra lessons with Gerard since early July. Before she began the lessons she quiet simply hated maths, had given up and homework was a battle !! Gerard quickly got to the route of the problem and worked with her to build confidence and knowledge of the basics. She is a different child around maths now - she happily does her homework, contributes in class and is getting top marks in both homework and tests in her set at school. Gerard has structured her approach to maths and understands her thought process when applying her learning this enables him to get to the heart of the issue quickly.I have no hesitation in recommending Gerard.
