Ghazi

My name is Ghazi, I received my MA in Creative Writing with merit from The University of Roehampton. I specialise in writing and analysing literature, with a comprehensive background in essay composition. I am confident I can help any student fulfil their potential and reach a top grade in their exams.

Tutoring Experience

I have over two years of experience teaching students aged 9-16, helping them achieve exemplary exam results and boosting their confidence in the subject overall.
I currently tutor 11+, Common Entrance, IGCSE and GCSE level English Language, Literature and Mathematics
I have also worked as a private tutor while living abroad in China, teaching English as a foreign language.
I taught children ranging from 6-8 years old. I would create fun and engaging lessons so that I could maintain their focus, which wasn’t always a straightforward task, but it pushed me to become a more effective teacher and communicator.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, meaning that no two lessons are the same. Each student will receive tailored lessons specifically built around their strengths and weaknesses, and whichever methods they respond best to. I strive to make my lessons as engaging as possible and take great satisfaction from empowering my students to excel in their academic pursuits, while also fostering an environment of independent and critical thought.
