I was born in Fontainebleau (Seine & Marne) and I moved to the UK back in 1997 after completing a BTS Trilingual Assistant (HND).
I am an experienced French Tutor, I have worked with SEN children as a Teaching Assistant and as a French Tutor with Adult Continuing Education. As well as this I have also been working as a Health Trainer for the NHS. I am patient, diplomatic and I do possess strong communication skills, written and verbal.
In most of my professional positions I had to educate people to some degree and I got to develop and use a lot of interpersonal skills. I believe that the right amount of flexibility, knowledge of your subject and a passion to make you want to share it are core to being a Tutor.
I do believe the key to learning a language is to be able to interact with a competent native tutor, being given the opportunity to repeat/speak but over all to get a clear explanation regarding any questions you might have.
As your tutor, I should listen and adapt my sessions so that you can feel empowered by your progress. I will ensure that your pronunciation, awareness of the French grammar as well as your knowledge of vocabulary increase.
I shall make my best to tailor my sessions to your need and abilities but I will also challenge you to get you where you want to be in a relaxed atmosphere.
