I’m a qualified secondary science teacher with a strong academic background in biology, a PGCE specialising in chemistry, and experience teaching all three sciences up to GCSE level. I’m passionate about making science accessible and enjoyable for all students, and I take pride in helping learners build confidence and achieve their goals.
I have taught biology, chemistry, and physics across Key Stage 3 and GCSE in a mainstream school setting. My degree focused on biology, giving me strong subject knowledge, and my PGCE training was centred on chemistry. I have experience delivering the full science curriculum and supporting students of all abilities, with a clear understanding of exam requirements and effective strategies for revision and retention.
My teaching style is clear, supportive, and student-focused. I tailor each session to the learner’s needs—whether they’re aiming to secure a pass, improve their understanding, or stretch towards top grades. I focus on building strong foundational knowledge, using clear explanations, regular check-ins, and plenty of practice to boost confidence and exam readiness. My goal is to make science engaging and achievable for every student.
