I am a current Head of Mathematics at one of Cambridge's most successful sixth form colleges. I have taught in a wide range of schools for a total of thirteen years and have three university level degress, including a Masters in Mathematics Education from Cambridge University. I enjoy tutoring students one-to-one as a way of developing my own understanding of how students "do maths" as well as for the satisfaction of seeing them succeed in their exams.
I am in my thirteenth year of teaching GCSE and A-level maths in secondary schools and sixth forms. I have been a Head of Mathematics in two schools and currently work in one of Cambridge's top sixth-form colleges, one which regularly sends students to Oxford and Cambridge. I also work as an examiner for EdExcel and a part-time consultant for a large multi-academy trust.
I have experience of teaching every type of student, so I can adapt my approach to the needs of the individual. I have extensive and direct knowledge of the requirements of the exams, so I am well suited to guiding students in that regard.
