I am a first year medical student studying at Queen Mary University of London. At secondary school, I was an academic scholar and I participated in voluntary work with younger children from all backgrounds.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring students aged 7+ for over 3 years. A lot of my work revolves around tutoring students for 11+ (both independent and grammar schools) and for helping to write Medicine personal statements and prepare for the UCAT. Having successful experience with applying for Medicine, I can provide inside knowledge and tips to further boost your application.
Tutoring Approach
My approach to tutoring is flexible. I work together with the student/+parent to reach targets and assess progress. In-lesson work involves learning material which I can provide (I am also fine with using the material you provide) quizzes, practise questions and topic tests. Workload is always negotiable.
