Hi, I'm a Russell Group Chemistry graduate with a passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential. I provide high-quality, one-to-one tuition in Ilford and East London, specialising in Science and A-level Chemistry, as well as Maths, English, and Phonics for primary school students.
With several years of tutoring experience, I tailor my lessons to suit each student's learning style, ensuring they gain both confidence and subject mastery. My tuition rates range from £25 to £40, depending on the level and subject.

Tutoring Experience

I have over five years of experience tutoring Primary Maths, English, and Phonics, alongside four years of experience teaching GCSE Science. My background also includes working as a science technician and cover teacher in a secondary school, where I gained valuable classroom experience and insight into the school curriculum.

I believe that every student learns differently, so l tailor my teaching to suit their individual needs. I use a structured approach to ensure steady progress:
Initial Assessment - I start by assessing the student's current level through a general test tailored to their year group. This helps me identify their strengths and areas for improvement.

Targeted Lessons - I then create a personalised learning plan, focusing on the topics they find most challenging. I explain concepts clearly, using real-life examples to make learning engaging and relatable.
Practice & Application - I strongly believe in
the phrase "practice makes perfect." After covering each topic, I set a variety of practice questions to reinforce understanding.
Regular Testing & Feedback - I conduct follow-up tests after a few weeks to check retention and ensure long-term understanding. I also provide regular feedback to both students and parents on progress and areas to focus on.
