I am currently a first year university student studying law. I am an outgoing and friendly person who is very determined in my goals and aspiration which makes me a great motivator for me and other people.

Tutoring Experience

I worked as a personal tutor for primary school children in the summer of 2022. this shows my relevance in the field of teaching. during this time I learnt how to communicate and adapt to my students needs and be very specific in what they wanted from me, this reflects my communication skills as I would efficiently find different ways to explain something the student may not have understood. This allowed me to read a good rapport with the student I worked with.
In addition to this i enrolled myself in an enrichment programme with my schools where I would be a reading mentor to year 8 students who were a a low reading age. this allowed me to be patient with the student as there were words which were difficult for them to define. This shows I can work with a range of different students.

Tutoring Approach

The best teaching approach is through practice exams questions which allows you to understand what the examiners are asking and learn mistakes from mark schemes this allows you to spot pattens . If there is content that a student may not understand I can go through it via power point slides that are easy to understand.
