I am an enthusiastic deputy head of science specialising in Biology however teach both chemistry and physics As well and have taught all exam boards, including OCR, AQA and Edexcel. Wanting to promote a love for science and students to make the best progress.

Tutoring Experience

5 years teaching and tutor experience in teaching all three sciences both for foundation and higher level students. Tutor Biology, Chemistry, physics and combined science at GCSE. Biology at A level.

Tutoring Approach

I base my tutor sessions around the specific individuals weaknesses or areas they feel they need more support with. We also work on revision techniques to optimise retention of information taught. My tutor sessions involve working through exam questions and learning exam technique as well as going through topics step step breaking them down into manageable chunks.
