I have been sharing my knowledge of English and creative writing for the past nine years through university lecturing, Cambridge college summer schools and private tuition. I have a Master's degree from the University of East Anglia on their coveted Creative Writing programme (which boasts alumni such as Sir Kazuo Ishiguro, Ian McEwan (CBE), and Anne Enright (Booker Prize winner) to name a few). I also have a Bachelor's degree (with honours) in Writing and Film from Anglia Ruskin University, where I graduated top of the ALSS faculty and won the prize for best Major Writing Project.
I write widely from novels and screenplays to poetry, short stories and non-fiction. I am so passionate about writing that I am constantly reading about it and keeping on top of new techniques. As a result, I have a wealth of knowledge that is wasted on just me alone and I wish to share it with equally motivated people who want to learn more about English and/or creative writing.
I have eight novels published, which have won numerous awards and have topped the best sellers charts within their genre. I have also had a short film produced by a London production studio and distributed on popular streaming sites. I am currently writing an ongoing 'storytime' feature with BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and am working on a story-based cyber security e-learning course with clients such as the London Metropolitan Police and U.S. Department of Justice.

I believe confidence is a big part of being a successful student so I'm very proactive and encouraging. There is no greater reward for a tutor than seeing a student blossom under their care, and I make it my mission to make every one of my students feel like they have achieved something from their lessons.
