Hello! I am a French, Spanish, EFL, and Study Skills tutor. I love learning, so much so that I am now in my 6th year at university. I am a passionate, creative and experienced teacher.

Tutoring Experience

I hold an undergraduate degree in French (during which I also studied Spanish to a high level), I have a masters degree in Linguistics and am in the final weeks of a PGDE in Primary education.
My experience in teaching is not just from my placements in schools for my PGDE, but also tutoring English abroad and being an English langauge Assistant with the British Council. I have also been an au pair in Spain, teaching English to 3-7 year olds.

Tutoring Approach

Through my PGDE, I have a great understanding of the Scottish curriculum and education system. I will focus on the key areas of language development or study skills that will form the key foundation for success. I like to offer practical and real-world lessons that are suitable for all ages. As I am dyslexic myself, I tend to teach in a dyslexia-friendly approach that has been proven to benefit all (not just people with dyslexia).
