With patience and passion I truly believe that anyone can be a musician. I'm Harry, a teacher and professional musician looking to bring out the best in my students with fun and engaging lessons.
I teach saxophone, clarinet, flute and piano to all ages, and I've been teaching regularly since 2015, both privately and in schools.
I hold a masters degree in Jazz Performance from Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and I have an expansive interest in music from jazz and classical music to funk, soul and rock n' roll.
You'll usually find me gigging regularly in London with a variety of projects, including my jazz band, Howl Quartet, promoting our recent album.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
I have 5 years professional teaching experience, spanning from delivering lessons to adult learners and professional musicians learning a second instrument, to primary and secondary school instrumental teaching. This included one on one lessons and ensemble classes. I also have experience running jazz workshops and classes at secondary schools and conservatoires.
have always been passionate about creating and studying music. It is really exciting to have assimilated a wealth of knowledge and experience across a wide variety of genres that I can now share with others. My lessons are tailored to the students independent needs and I focus on developing well-rounded musicians in a fun and engaging manner. My goal as a teacher is to build my students core skills in a musical environment that is engaging.
