I graduated from Kingston University with B.Sc. in biochemistry with first class honours degree and I was the winner of Lonza Biologics price in year 2002.
I completed PGCE from Kingston u oversity in 2003 and joined Stanmore College as a GCSE and A level Biology Human Biology and Environmental science teacher. I have always scored grade 1 for my teachinv observations every year and also received an Outstanding teachers award in 2014 I. STANMORE college.
I have performed excellently during all Ofsted Inspections at Stanmore college and in the latest OFSTED inspection in 2022 received most outstanding teachers award for delivering one of the most creative Biology lesson.
I am extremely passionate about teaching and enjoy teaching and delivering outstanding lessons.
I love to see how my teaching makes a significant difference to students ability to achieve excellence in exam. I have taught a range of students with different abilities and have been able to maximise their potential in exam.
I have taught Biology for the past 20 years.
O have taught all different syllabus including AQA Edexcel WJEC OCR EDUQAS and also IB Diploma.
I have also taught T levels and BTEC vocational Science.
I have taught hundreds of students who are now top surgeons dentists pharmacists physiotherapists and other professional jobs.
I have also taught Adult Education courses including ACCESS to Nursing Pharmcy Science and Radiography.
I am very familiar with all different specification and the exam techniques needed for students to succeed for different spec.
I teach online using zoom link and Idroo board.
I generally start my lesson to check students prior knowledge. I would then pitch my lesson according to their ability and once I lay the foundation for a specific topic I start expanding and stretching to higher standard while continuously assessing and checking their understanding via exam style questions throughout the lesson to build connfidence in approaching the exam with positive attitude.
I would give home work after each lesson and student would submit work online.
