I graduated in 2001 from The University of Manchester as an Aerospace Engineer with honours, then qualified from Oxford as a Postgraduate in Mathematics, followed by an MBA with Merit from Birmingham University. I have been teaching for over 20 years and hold Qualified Teacher Status specialising in Mathematics. I am currently a full-time Head of a Mathematics and extended SLT in a local secondary school and specialise in helping students achieve their full potential. I believe all students can understand Mathematics given the right coaching and encouragement. I can provide tuition 1 to 1 or small groups of up to 6 at a discounted rate. All my students make excellent progress due to my positive outlook and clear visual explanations. I use IT to enhance my teaching by tracking data with a database of material that fits with the national curriculum. The free taster session gauges the strengths and areas of improvement. I will then set up an individualised strategy for the student. If teaching is needed online, I have vast experience in delivering high-quality online lessons.
